Speed king gets extra boost
Thunderbolt , the original all purpose market leading fixing anchor, has sponsored UK Speedway rider Tai Woffinden to boost his bid for Grand Prix glory.
WHADDON, ENGLAND, February 07, 2010 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- Thunderbolt , the original all purpose market leading fixing anchor, has sponsored UK Speedway rider Tai Woffinden to boost his bid for Grand Prix glory.
Tipped as one of the Speedway's up-and-coming stars and the British U21 Speedway champion, Tai Woffinden will make his Grand Prix debut this season at just 19 years old. After a successful 2009 racing season for the Wolverhampton Wolves, the Czestochowa team in Poland and Vargarna team in Sweden, Tai has been handed one of the four highly-coveted Wild Cards for the sport's Grand Prix Series that starts in Leszno, Poland, on April 24.
Recognising the potential of this young British rider, Thunderbolt has agreed a two-year sponsorship deal that will help catapult Tai's career to the next level and help him to achieve his dream of challenging for the World Championship title.
"I'm really proud that such a big-name brand has shown this confidence in me by pledging this level of support - and I'm confident that, with this extra boost, I will be able to make the other riders sit up and take notice when it comes to the Grand prix races," said Tai.
